Tweetable Quotes

Gymnastics has been part of my life for such a long time, and now that I’m coaching, it’s still part of my life. I’m just so humbled by the opportunities that life has given to me.

It’s definitely hard to build your legacy when you’re not representing a big nation. And, I had to work extra hard to gain the respect and the benefit of the doubt at the international level.

You know, when you’re sixteen years old, you do as you’re told. After you grow older, you start listening to your body…to your mind; you create your own perspective.

My big advice for gymnasts is to believe in yourself no matter what people tell you and have your goals in mind and then believe that you can achieve them.

I think it has to be a combination of both that artistic gymnastics, but also has to be powerful. So, if we can kind of meet in the middle, that would be perfect.

I’m very proud and satisfied with everything that I have accomplished as an athlete, so whatever happens from now on, I’m good with it.

Every day when I wake up and I sit at my desk, I think about something that I’m thankful for. And that really helps me be positive throughout the day and appreciate the little things.
