“And so, when my career ended, I had the choice to basically do whatever I wanted to do. I didn’t have to work, I didn’t have to survive, which was very different from the normal transition. And that just led me to see a shortage or a pain point in the community and try to create something that would become a pathway that would help to more freedom.”
